“I studied the Agriculture Apprenticeship Levels 2 and 3, and I now work full time on my family’s robotic dairy farm. The courses gave me the knowledge I need to look after and manage cows, as well as giving me more confidence in my abilities and helping me with my decision making. Alongside this role I carry out relief milking on two other farms, carry out herd health and help manage cows on another farm.  I made some great friends during my time at Duchy College and my most memorable experiences are going to Poland and the Czech Republic to learn about different farming methods and carrying out a post mortem on a cow.”
