Hilary Desousa, Cornwall College Business Learning & Development Manager


Before joining CCB Hilary Desousa gained valuable operational management and HR experience in the hospitality industry. Hilary has a wealth of experience teaching and coaching within the education and business environment and pulls on proven business expertise to understand the challenges faced by employees on a daily basis. 

At Cornwall College Hilary oversees the Learning and Development courses, from professional qualifications, to apprenticeships, short courses and workshops. Before joining Cornwall College Business Hilary gained valuable operational management and HR experience in the Hospitality Industry.

Hilary has a wealth of experience teaching and coaching within the education and business environment and manages a team of professional trainers delivering bespoke programmes pulling on proven business expertise. She understands the challenges employees face on a daily basis and has designed and led distance learning, bespoke training and workshops plus open courses for a range of companies and individual clients.

As a trainer and coach she has an array of tools and techniques that can provide models and practical skills to help you create a clear vision for you and your organisation. Hilary is also a registered pratitioner in delivering a range of psychometric tools.
